In thee my soul shall own combined the sister and the friend. ~ Catherine Killigrew
Photographing these two sisters and their parents a couple weeks ago was so much fun. It was a beautiful late spring evening, and I felt so at home with them. Editing the photographs – without the tinkle of the girls laughter, and the summer breeze to distract me, left me with the deep and simple love and connection they share radiating from the photographs. There is something so very special about these two. It actually leaves me feeling a bit speechless.

beautiful, and what patience and skill to capture such ephemeral moments! Hats off to a great photographer!
These are beautiful photos of two beautiful and loving sisters. What a gift! Thanks for sharing these with us
What lovely photographs – true artistry in that they reflect truly soulful images of the girls in a natural, spirited way consonent with who they are! Thanks for sharing!
Seeing the girls so relaxed and undistracted reminds me of what we all can be: focused on living and loving each other. This set of photos is both a touching portrait of two beautiful little girls and a vision of sisterhood.
WOW! Natural, beautiful, intimate, playful…a gift!
Gentle, loving spirits. The photos truly capture how lovely the girls are. My favorite is the last photo, so pensive and so pure.
The lives of kids pass by so fast, and so often we miss the moments captured here, perhaps because we are distracted. I’ve seen my nieces.
Wish I could shoot pictures like these!
these are so wonderful! they remind me a bit of me and my sister.
what amazing little human beings those girls are! i just wanna squeeze ‘em!
Ack They’re so adorable!! I miss them more and more – this is a wonderful representation of their gentle spirits
You have captured the girls perfectly. The light and the framing of their faces are perfect. The photos show the personalities of the children as well as their natural beauty. Good job.
What precious keepsakes of this magical time in your lives!
Thea, thank you for the beautiful way you saw our girls. The music and sister quote just fit perfectly. I can’t stop smiling!
