The gorgeous Schenectady Rose Garden is pretty close to our home. Sometimes we stop there if we have some extra time – this is most common the days we are headed over to pick up our Roxbury farm CSA farm share (love this by the way!).
The Rose Garden is absolutely gorgeous. Recently they added some new water features and a new set of steps. My son loves climbing the rocks, watching the water falls, and smelling the roses. I so enjoy these moments with him. He is a delightful little guy. It has been a while since I took some flower photographs. Some of you may not know still life photography is one of my other passions. I think I may head over to the rose garden super early one of these summer mornings, sans 4 yr old and get a few more photographs of the roses.
The other day I thought it would be nice to leave extra early for camp (BTW we are LOVING the Niskayuna playground camp at Hillside this year-there are wonderful kind sweet camp counselors-activities and a great playground-and you can’t beat the price- $20 week for 5 days 3hrs) so we could stop by the rose garden for some rock hopping.
Trey loves to make people laugh, especially mom and dad. I adore his expressions and faces.
A few flower shots I got in between the playing:
