Alana came home from work one day to a scavenger hunt of sorts, designed by Mark. She followed the path of rose petals and notes which led her to their telescope. She peered into the telescope which was positioned right into the woods on their property and spotted a red rose pinned to a tree. It was there by that tree, that Mark got down on one knee and proposed. How romantic is that?
Alana and Mark will be getting married in Long Island NY in June of 2010.
Mark and Alana met and became friendly, on Mark’s regular visits to the sandwich shop where Alana worked. So when we got together for the engagement photo session we started in front of the sandwich shop in downtown Albany where it all began.
Next we headed to their beautiful property/home. It was wonderful spending time with them and their two gorgeous dogs Hemi and Bonkers. Aren’t they all beautiful?
And I wanted to give a little behind the scenes peek. Don’t you love the look on Mark’s face when he turns around and sees me laying in the middle of the bridge to get a shot? Even the dogs thought it was strange enough to check out.
