Getting Unstuck and Started on your Blog

I know that many friends and fans of Thea are very active in online communities, and many have longstanding and popular blogs of their own supporting their business, their passions, or both. As Thea and I work to get this new blog off the ground, I have been spending a tremendous amount of time online and camped out at Barnes and Noble digesting everything I can get my hands on related to social media, blogging, and using both to promote a traditional business.

Trust me, there is a TON of information out there, some fantastic, some not so much. It is easy to get lost in the learning curve, to the point where you forget that at some point you need to dive in yourself and just start something.

This morning I had an absolutely fantastic post come across my RSS reader off of problogger.net (which has become one of my daily must-read blogs). A guest post by Aileen Journey from the Problem Solver Blog (which I had not read, but will be checking out), lays out six succinct, yet incredibly useful tips for those wanting to start or grow their blogs, but unsure about how to make the leap.

Crawl before you walk: 6 Step-by-step Instructions for Starting your First Blog.
