~ Today I enjoyed watching as my son and his playmate played with sprinkles and cookie dough.

~ Listening to The Weepies/Deb Talan music is like wrapping myself up in a warm blanket. Listening to my Weepies station on the wonderful online intuitive radio Pandora.com this song just came on…
~ I am carving out small chunks of time (few minutes while the water boils, or while the oatmeal cooks) to allow myself to visit blogs. I have many blogs I love to read, but I have been avoiding them the past few months, because I find it difficult to stop reading. I subscribe to blog feeds through bloglines and having all the updated blogs there in one place-with one yummy post after another…well I find it hard to walk away. But in cutting back on this connection to people I find so inspiring and affirming, I found I started to feel a bit cut off from a very important form of support and inspiration. Just reading about other people living their creative dreams gives me that little somethin somethin which feeds my soul and gives me courage on the days where I feel some doubts creep in, that there isn’t enough time or enough of me, to make this business what I envision it to be.
~ One of the blogs I love is Ink on my fingers by Susannah Conway. I “met” Susannah online through our blogs about 4 yrs ago. I met her in person the following year in Seattle at a small retreat of sorts. Susannah is a terrific photographer, writer and guide. She is a loving friend and support. Her story and her growth as a person and as a business woman are very inspirational. Today when I stopped by her blog, there was a great post of an interview she did with Danielle LaPorte. I don’t know how to introduce Danielle, as she does so many things, so I will quote from her website http://whitehottruth.com
” Professionally speaking, I do three things:
1. I write. Obviously, I write here, for you, and on other sites and magazines. I’m working on my second book called, The Fire Starter Sessions.
2. I jam with entrepreneurs and creatives – all types and levels – on rocking their careers.
3. I speak to audiences about liberating their authentic power. I do this on stage at cool conferences, and as a weekly commentator on the new CBC TV show, Connect with Mark Kelley.”
I am dreaming of a fire started session in 2010.
Have you read a blog post recently that inspired you?
~The lovely and talented Alex from Gypsy Girls Guide wrote a beautiful post over on Shutter Sisters. In her post she talks about how writing can sometimes be more challenging than photography, as a medium of expressing herself. I have been going through some of my own doubts as I am fully immersed in all of my recent photo sessions and find that I feel incapable of adequately describing all the lovely emotions and details to compliment each sneak peek post. I so hope the photographs speak for themselves when I can’t find the right words.
