Sheehan – Zenner Family Sneak Peek ~ Thea Coughlin Family Photographer Albany NY

Last fall when I photographed the Sheehan- Zenner Family, Amanda mentioned wanting to have photographs taken in her mother’s gorgeous flower garden in the  summer. I have written about their store before, and how much I love working with them. It never fails that at the end of working together I have to massage my cheeks from all the laughing that goes on.

This session was at Amanda’s mother Kathe’s house. We were lucky that her mom and brother were able to join us for the photosession.

We decided to start with the whole family shot. Right in front of them is a walkway and then a small beautiful pond/water feature. I was balancing precariously on the rocks and hoping not to fall backwards into the water.

I wasn’t the only one getting a bit close to the waters edge. J is such a cutie. Here she was very intersted in the HUGE goldfish and the scattered fish food that didn’t make it into the water.

Kathe’s garden was part of the Schenectady garden tour again this year. It is beautiful!

The girls love their uncle. They were both eager to have their photographs taken with him.

The girls brought their babies along for the shoot. Here J is getting some Grandma love.

Here are the three girls. They have grown so much since last fall.

In this picture the older J is making little J laugh by jumping up and down doing silly things right next to me, all in attempt to keep little J distracted so I could get some pictures of her. Little J is often on the move. Thanks big J for the help!

Later little J returned the favor and made big J laugh for me.

Eric is a pretty funny guy. Here he and E were playing a game together.

I really wanted to get a good shot of Eric and Amanda together. Good couple shots are often a bit tricky with kids around. The moment I take the parents aside the kids start climbing all over them. I often use this to my advantage when I am trying to get all the kids in a photo after they have been running around a bit.

Next we got a shot of all the girl together in their white dresses. I love this shot bu the pool under the gazeebo.

I could go on, but I am afraid this post is getting a bit long…..

I swear I have the best clients in the world! Thanks guys for a joyous evening. I had a blast!
