Dreamy Newborn Photo shoot ~ Thea Coughlin Photographer Maternity and Newborn ~ Albany Clifton Park NY

A few weeks ago I posted about the Romantic maternity photo session I had with Darcy and Linda. Well Linda was due on June 5th, but emailed me the week before to tell me they thought she may go early. I told her I would keep my schedule flexible and to let me know when she arrived.

I got a call on May 26th from Darcy, to tell me they hadn’t had the chance to look at the maternity photographs, because Linda was in labor and at the hospital.

Can I tell you how exciting it is to be one of the people to get a call when labor starts? I love the excitement and anticipation.

So the next day I couldn’t stand the suspense and stopped by the hospital on my way home from dropping my son off at school. Oh what a treat to meet Addelin! Darcy and Linda looked gorgeous as always-couldn’t believe it after they were up all night.

I took a few snapshots of Addelin and left them to rest and recoup.

About a week later I met them at their house for Addelin’s first photo session. She was such a darling. I had a blissful 3 hours photographing her. Finally Darcy made an announcement that they had to go to Addelin’s Dr. visit, so that was my clue to start wrapping it up. LOL.

Darcy and Linda – Thank you for allowing me to contribute to the memory of your pregnancy and newborn daughter. Most of all, thank you  for allowing Addelin and I to work together all morning to get these fabulous photographs. I think we all made a good team:)
