This is Elizabeth. She is a beautiful sweet baby that I had the honor to photograph a couple weeks ago. She lives in a restored home from the 1700′s. Her mom and dad are so talented when it comes to restoration and design. The house is airy-with these awesome wide hallways, great floors-huge kitchen, and the most gorgeous stone walls and patio out back. Jennifer has decorating abilities that I am green with envy over.
Both Michael and Jennifer have worked hard on restoring and renovating their home. I loved this sign they had by the side doorway.
We got some great shots in their HUGE amazing bedroom.
The Darling’s are serious Syracuse basketball fans.
So huge-their adorable dog is named Alli-oop after a basketball play Syracuse is famous for. I so admire their loyalty.
We diligently tried to get Elizabeth to show her loyalties but it seems we tired her out:)
Thank you Darlings, I had a lot of fun during our session. Hello Thea! Wow! Lovely work! How/where did you design that mock up of the photos over the stairs and table? Can you share? I came across your website. I love the mock up ideas for over a table and stairs. Is this something you designed or is a product you purchased? I’d love to do soemthing similar for my studio in MN. A few weeks ago I had a wonderful session to photograph these gorgeous, sweet pugs. Dogs are so much fun to photograph!
Thea was fantastically patient with them, they’re not nearly as well-behaved as Thea’s photos make them out to be. She even sang to them to get them to pose for her. BTW, they’re asking for an encore, Thea! These photos are fantastic! This is the kind of squishy, slobbery dog I want! I am finally headed in the healthy direction after a bout with what the Dr. thinks was swine flu. It started as a quick onset of the worst headache ever. I don’t get headaches often and am sure people who face migraines regularly would put my headache to shame, but man it was the kind of headache where you wonder ift here is a tumor getting ready to explode it hurts so much. A couple hours later I woke in the middle of the night with a fever-sweats chills-aches-and an upset stomach. I headed right to the Dr. who gave me tamiflu. It was a rough few days. I can’t believe how much I missed my guys even though they were never much more than a bedroom door away. It is hard not to be able to hug and play. I still have a behind the eyes headache but the fever seemed to go away late yesterday afternoon and my stomach is feeling almost completely better too. So I am trying to take it easy today, but have a lot of catching up to do… Oh, you poor thing! I hope you are feeling better… With the change of season comes a flurry of holiday sessions and cut off dates. There are only 3 session dates that remain available to make the November 15th session deadline for holiday orders. Monday November 2nd at 9:45am or 1pm Monday November 9th at 9:45 am or 1pm Thursday November 12th at 9:45 am or 4pm For those interested in a session but do not need their orders in time for the holidays I have two session dates still available in December: Sunday December 6th Thursday December 10th at 9:45 If you are interested in holiday cards or products to be delivered before the holiday The last day to place a book order is November 15th The last day for sessions is November 15th The last day to place a holiday product order is December 5th Alana came home from work one day to a scavenger hunt of sorts, designed by Mark. She followed the path of rose petals and notes which led her to their telescope. She peered into the telescope which was positioned right into the woods on their property and spotted a red rose pinned to a tree. It was there by that tree, that Mark got down on one knee and proposed. How romantic is that? Alana and Mark will be getting married in Long Island NY in June of 2010. Mark and Alana met and became friendly, on Mark’s regular visits to the sandwich shop where Alana worked. So when we got together for the engagement photo session we started in front of the sandwich shop in downtown Albany where it all began.
Next we headed to their beautiful property/home. It was wonderful spending time with them and their two gorgeous dogs Hemi and Bonkers. Aren’t they all beautiful?
And I wanted to give a little behind the scenes peek. Don’t you love the look on Mark’s face when he turns around and sees me laying in the middle of the bridge to get a shot? Even the dogs thought it was strange enough to check out.
