Once again, Thea left our house with me thinking, she couldn’t have taken any good pictures, what with our children goofing around and being supremely uncooperative! And then Thea unveils this! Not only is she a superb photographer, but it is a joy to have her taking pictures because she has such ease of being, and she makes the process a joy! Thank you, Thea. Thea these are gorgeous! Bright, cheery, and just so so cute. You’re style is like no other…bright, fun, light, happy. Joy is such a hard thing to really truly capture and you have done it! Kudos! I just recently added mini session offerings because I wanted to try them out again. I am still pondering whether this is something that works with my style of photography. In some ways it seems to make sense with little ones with short attention spans, but I think this is mostly true if you are looking for posed pictures. What I missed during this session was the time to get to know these beautiful boys better. What I love about having more time, is how the atmosphere gets progressively more relaxed and loose, and I am able to become a familiar presence, which is when I find I often get my favorite shots. With just 20 minutes it is tricky to get to that place. With all of that said, I thought this mini session went beautifully. Here are a couple of my favorites.
OMG I love this shoot!! Love the colors and playfulness!! Bravo! Thea took these amazing pictures for my family’s celebration of my father’s 80th birthday. She did a fantastic job and got beautiful shots of nearly 70(!) of our immediate family and captured the love of our big crazy (mostly) Italian family! Like it. |
