The easy and expected answer is that I loved each and every photo that Thea shot, and that is true. I would have been happy with just one of the amazing pictures that Thea took. But my favorite of the session is one of my husband holding my older son — a completely candid shot in what was an otherwise well planned-out shoot. Thea managed to capture the relationship between the two of them perfectly in just one photo; it is beautiful and oozes genuine emotion. It makes me so happy to have such a perfect, timeless picture of two of my very favorite people.
What did you enjoy most about working with Thea?
Thea not only was open to making the shoot a collaborative one, she welcomed my ideas and worked towards getting the specific shots I wanted. I very much appreciated the way in which she orchestrated our shoot to cater to my style. It was just a happy accident that it happened to overlap with hers.
How was working with Thea unique, compared to other photographers or portrait studios you may have worked with in the past?
Working with Thea was just so easy. The entire process, from first contact, to the shoot, to selecting and then promptly receiving my photos was so simple and stress-free. Her skills as both a photographer and a genuinely kind business person made my experience so enjoyable that I would recommend her services to absolutely anyone looking to have lovely photos taken in a most relaxing and memorable way.
If you had to sum up the entire experience in one word, what would it be?
Ideal. My family and I had a wonderful time with Thea during our shoot and ended up with exactly the gorgeous photos I’d hope to have to memorialize a very special time in our lives. That Thea is warm, welcoming, and so very kind made the entire process even better. There is nothing I would have changed about working with Thea, and am so looking forward to doing so again.
